Nunu Jijavadze is an experienced neurologist who has been actively engaged in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders for many years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in pediatrics from Shota Rustaveli State University in Batumi and completed her neurology residency at the Postgraduate Medical Academy in Saint Petersburg.
Nunu’s extensive career includes work at leading medical institutions such as the Maritime Hospital, Tatishvili Medical Center, and Sanitas Neurorehabilitation Center, where she currently serves as the director. She is actively involved in assessing children’s neuromotor development and overseeing neurorehabilitation processes.
Nunu has participated in numerous seminars, training programs, and international conferences, including the Baltic Sea Summer School and the International Epilepsy Courses in Vilnius. Her professional development also includes courses on stroke prevention, diagnosis, and management, as well as training in medical genetics and epigenetics, which have significantly enhanced her practical skills and expertise.
She is fluent in Russian and has intermediate proficiency in German and English, enabling her to provide patient care aligned with international standards.
